Sons of Kemet

Today on Ecléctico we're listening to Sons of Kemet, a jazz quartet based in London with two horn players and two drummers. Their unique sound fuses together elements of modal and free jazz, grime, dub, ’60s and ’70s Ethiopian jazz, and Afro-Caribbean music. We go deeper with comments from Sons of Kemet clarinetist/saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings.
